The power of personal

Hey Reader -

I recently suggested to a client that they send a prospective client a handwritten thank you note. You would have thought I asked for a ride to the moon.

It seems like handwritten thank you notes have gone out of style. While I have a stack of them available at all times, it appears that it’s more an indicator of my age than courtesy.

The truth is that now that we have converted to more “more digital, less tangible marketing” those handwritten notes get opened. They are notable. 😄 Our clients and prospects notice.

When we receive something in the mail - we actually pay attention. A handwritten note means more - it means someone took time to write and send that card. It is deeply thoughtful.

Thank you cards.
Sympathy cards.
Thinking of you cards.
Birthday cards.
Cards that express your gratitude for that person.

Who would you like to capture the attention of this week? Who would you like to make a connection with? Who would just smile as a result of getting a note from you?

I challenge you to send three cards out this week.

I’ll be sending out those cards today -

Jenell
